You go to first Thursday Art Walk and you love it. You love the energy, creativity and inspiration. You like seeing what the artists are doing and you admire their works.
Still something keeps you from collecting, or taking that first step to living with and enjoying original art on a daily basis in your own home.
If this sounds like you, then please join artist Megan Chapman as she gives a short talk about the joys of collecting original art and the fears you may need to conquer in order to start your own collection.This talk will be geared towards new collectors, younger collectors, and those that may be unfamiliar with the gallery system or how one goes about buying art.
This special event will be held in the Revolver gallery at the Fayetteville Underground, featuring the works of two young Hot Springs artists, Michael Shaeffer and Christopher Baber and their collaborative work as Pedigree.
Megan Chapman has curated this exhibition that contains many affordable works, and thought it would be a good jumping off point for many new collectors, as well as a way for people to enjoy this body of work in more depth. All of the galleries at the Fayetteville Underground will be open for your enjoyment as well.
There will be light refreshments.
Questions and curiosity are encouraged.
