FAYETTEVILLE, AR – The City of Fayetteville, the downtown square merchants and the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau will host First Thursday Fayetteville featuring art, music, improv and a movie on the Downtown Square, Thursday, September 3, 2009, starting at 5 p.m.

The event will begin with new art exhibit openings at ddp gallery and The Fayetteville Underground from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., live music in front of the Town Center by the band Chase Missy beginning at 6 p.m., improv theatre performances at 6:45 p.m., and the feature film, North by Northwest will start at 8 p.m. This 1959 Academy Award winning classic stars Cary Grant and was directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a great night of FREE entertainment on the Downtown Square!

First Thursday Fayetteville is free to the public; however, donations to the We Can! campaign are requested to support local food banks.
