FAYETTEVILLE, AR – The City of Fayetteville, the downtown square merchants and the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau will host First Thursday Fayetteville featuring art, music, and a movie on the downtown Square, Thursday, August 6, 2009, starting at 5 p.m.
The event will begin with an Art Walk at ddp gallery and The Fayetteville Underground from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., live music in front of the Town Center by Marshall Mitchell and Guta, improv theatre performances and the feature film, “War Eagle,” a movie filmed and set in War Eagle, Arkansas, and written by Arkansas Native Graham Gordy, will begin at dark. Bring your lawn chairs.
The event is free to the public. However, donations to the We Can! Campaign are requested to support local food banks.
