Finally Four Square Gallery is expanding. Our new location as of July 1, 2009 will be:

We will be open at the new location by July 1st and will be showing new work from many of our artists. The doors will be open from noon to 6PM on the first of July, and we will have light refreshments for folks who want to stop by for a sneak preview of some new work and a tour of the new digs. There is now a working print studio in the gallery and we will be showing more prints than ever. Our “Grand Opening” celebration is scheduled for Sunday August 9th from 2 PM to 8 PM. The celebration will include artists’ reception, interesting food and refreshments and a printmaking demonstration by Nichelle Wilson-Parish and others.
Our Gallery hours, beginning the 2nd of July will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon to 7 PM. Other times by appointment.
On Saturday August 15th, there will be a poetry reading sponsored with Burning Chair Readings, the folks who brought Fayetteville the Frank Stanford Fest last year. There will be 6 – 10 poets reading as well as music and refreshments, starting at 3 PM and running until 6 PM or closing time.
Future readings are planned including a major fiction event in November. Also the gallery has some great fall shows lined up including new work and new artists.
