I have two tidbits of information to share. One is a reminder about Dance Coalition’s Annual Concert April 25 & 26 and the second is Exciting News!
First – Dance Coalition in Concert

$8 for children 12 and under
$15 for adults
The concert will feature classical and contemporary ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, hip hop, musical theater and belly dance.
Come enjoy the variety of dance created by Northwest Arkansas choreographers and performed by local dancers.
Our friends from UALR are coming to perform, too! Come and get a glimpse of the variety of dance and talent Northwest Arkansas has to offer!
Second – the first Northwest Arkansas Dance Festival 2010!
2009 is the last year Dance Coalition will host an annual Concert. Next year and in years to come, our annual event will be transformed! Into the FIRST Northwest Arkansas all Dance Festival!!!!
All are welcome. All may perform. Bring your best works!!!
Dance Coalition to host 1st Annual Northwest Arkansas Dance Festival
Spring 2010
Submit videos of choreography in advance by January 1st and receive FREE adjudication by a professional team of adjudicators.*
Your choreography WILL be placed in one of three showcases.
o Choreography Showcase 1
o Choreography Showcase 2
o Or the Folk Dance Extravaganza
YOU will be able to attend master dance classes, as well as dancer and dance teacher forums during the weekend-long dance celebration.
Get ready, and start preparing your best work now! Remember, performing dancers must be age 13 or older.**
Registration forms will be available online in June. Check our website for details and updates.
*All pieces for showcase must be adjudicated for placement in a showcase Adjudication feedback is private, and will not be shared with anyone except the choreographer.
**Special consideration will be granted for exceptional artistry or dancers.
