a note from the artist:

“Hello, my name is Phillip Leonard, a local artist in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I was born in the steel mill town of Granite City, Illinois, the third of eight children. We relocated to Fayetteville in 1962.

I attended the University of Arkansas and University of Oklahoma in accounting and business management. I worked at Washington Regional Medical Center.

My family has supported and been the impetus of my renewed interest in art. I have rededicated myself toward learning more about the media of oils and watercolor.

My works are all originals.

My Jan/Feb show at Zephyr Blevins Gallery in Rogers will be partly a racing theme in oil and watercolor along with still lifes and landscapes.”

Phil Leonard
