Kathy Mayhue

Kathy Mayhue is a professional photographer as well as a wife, mother and community volunteer in Northwest Arkansas. Photography is her passion and she rarely goes a day without taking or wanting to take a photo of somone or something! Kathy has had work published in At Home Arkansas-wedding addition,Family Fun Magazine, Rogers Lowell Chamber publications and welcome to Springdale. Her photos from the Hobbs State Park make up the Friends of Hobbs website and are also found on the Arkansas State Park website.

Her current show May 2-June 27th has work from a trip south this past winter. Kathy explains,”I am very enamored with the warmth and southern states. The large old Oak trees covered with Spanish moss that shade the squares in Savannah andthe large old alligators lining the dirt roads in very back country areas of south Florida. I am not sure what it is exactly , maybe the soft warm air, but watever it is the pace slows in the south and it is a nice place totake it all in- beautiful naturla areas,traditons, and people. I hope you can get some of that from the show. So grab your glass of sweet tea and let’s go sit on the porch.”
