    The Fulbright College department of music will feature the University of Arkansas Symphonic Band and Campus Band in concert on Monday evening, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Baum Walker Hall at the Walton Arts Center.

    The UA Symphonic Band is a 61 piece ensemble and is conducted by Tim Gunter.  The UA Campus Band is a 67 piece ensemble and is conducted by Caleb Pond and W. Dale Warren.  They will be performing pieces by Steven Barton, Jan Van der Roost, Michael Colgrass, Clare Grundman, John Philip Sousa, Jack Stamp, Darius Milhaud, Richard Wagner, and Jaormir Weinberger. 

    Admission for all UA Band Concerts is $10 general admission, $5 for senior citizens and $1 for UA students.  Tickets will be sold at the door.  The Walton Arts Center is located at 495 W. Dickson Street in Fayetteville.  For more information, please call the UA band office at (479) 575-4100.
