TCC to Build $15M Downtown Facility
By Tulsa Business Journal staff  - 1/14/2008

Early next year, Tulsa Community College-Metro Campus will officially break ground on a 49,811-SF Center for Creativity, a $15.4 million facility that will sit between 9th and 10th Streets on Boston Avenue.

The facility, which is slated to open in March 2009, is funded through a Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education higher education bond package financed with funds from the Oklahoma lottery.
The center, which aims to “establish a college hub for voice, data and visual communications,” will house TCC’s arts and graphic design, computer information systems, visual arts, journalism, communications, television production, instructional design and radio and broadcasting departments. The building was designed by Selser Schaefer Architects and is being constructed by Flintco Inc.
