Demonstrations will be given each class and glazing demonstrations will be as needed. These are for beginning to intermediate students; Those looking for more advanced levels should look into our monthly topical workshops or studio space.

We limit our class sizes so that each person can get the instructions they need. The classes are also on-going, so if you need to miss a week for some reason, you don’t fall behind. If you do miss a class, it can be made up later. You are allowed one make-up class per paid session.

Open Studio Memberships: Studio space is also available for a rate of $75-115 a month (this price does not include clay, supplies or firing fees). Access to studio 9a-9p up to 7 days/week. You have to know what you’re doing in order to get a membership.

Flat Rock Studios is a privately owned clay studio. We established it in 2002 for those with an interest in pottery and sculptural clay as well as those in need of a place to work in a community format. The aim of the studio is to expose individuals to the excitement of working with clay and the firing process at multiple levels while building community. We enjoy learning and so will you.
