A vision of turning part of the former Tyson complex into a center for the arts was presented to the Fayetteville City Council on Tuesday.
Susan Hutchcroft of Washington County, chairman of the newly created Northwest Arkansas Community Creative Center, and Daymara Baker of Fayetteville, executive director, described to the council a concept that would house a pottery studio, individual artist studios, a gallery, a performance space called a black box theater in what is now the cooler, metal and wood shops, and an outdoor amphitheater.and other sources.
