patjackson.jpgPat Jackson works intuitively, with very little sketching or preplanning. Imagination, colorful fabric, and a sense of balance are her tools; a threaded sewing machine just happens to be her mode of expression. Pat Jackson enjoys unexpected details and combinations that emerge from “just playing with it.”

Pat Jackson’s landscapes tend to be surreal. Fish swim through tree branches and dalmatians graze with zebras. When working in more traditional form, she strives for echoes rather than repetition.

Pat Jackson graduated from Rogers High School in 1962. Her work is in private collections from New York City to Austin, Texas.

The Julie Wait Designs Art Gallery at 318 S. First Street in Historic Downtown Rogers is open to the public 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday – Friday and by appointment. For information call 479.631.8706.
