WAC Cancels Visual Arts
The “I-540 Flowers” will bloom this spring as scheduled, but the Walton Arts Center Board has made a decision to phase out visual arts programming at the Fayetteville arts center.
Terri Trotter, Arts Center spokeswoman, said the decision to focus on the performing arts is based on public demand, space limitations and the future of visual arts in the region, which includes the 2009 opening of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
