Local artist Amber Winters currently has her paintings on display at “The Common Grounds” on Dickson St.
Amber has been painting for nearly 10 years, but has only recently begun to take a strong interest in abstract studies over the last couple of years. Her current work on display represents a range of abstractual studies that Amber has recently completed. She is inspired by such artists as Paul Klee, Pollock, Snyder, Miro, Krasner, and several others. She says that her paintings are “spontaneous reflections of her unconscious mind” representing the “blurbs of minor details we often times overlook within ourselves”.
The Common Grounds is open from 7:00am-2:00am Monday thru Friday, and 9:00am-2:00am Saturday & Sunday.
