Well, we had a great time doing this last year! Our production of Billie Jean Is Not My Lover won, and we look forward to gathering a team and in the second weekend in September, trying it once more. “Dupont, Mississippi: F5″ Premieres in Los Angeles in September, 2006.

The short film, “Dupont, Mississippi: F5″ will be featured at the International Film and Video Festival in Los Angeles in the fall of this year. This event, which attracts independent film producers throughout the world, is hosted by the New York Independent Film and Video Festival which sponsors additional screenings in Las Vegas, New York and Miami. The Los Angeles event is held for the public at large and for industry personnel representing production and film companies. “F5″ was directed by Julie Gable and Mark Landon Smith, with Smith also writing the screenplay, whose play Radio TBS was produced Off-Broadway last year.

The Original “Dupont, Mississippi” Opens In October, 2006.

The original “Dupont, Mississippi” will return to Fayetteville in the fall. Starring several of the original cast members, “Dupont, Mississippi” was given its premiere production in 2000, published by Samuel French/Baker’s Plays, Inc. in 2001 and is being produced, along with Smith’s other six published scripts, throughout the world. Join the wacky citizens of this backwater burg as they celebrate the death of Verna Dewberry, the much despised matriarch of the Dupont Metroplex.
