SPRINGFEST 2006 is sponsored by Pride in Dickson Street (PIDS), a non-profit organization. Booth spaces are approximately 10′x10′ and categories will be limited and assigned according to PIDS.
PIDS reserves the right to accept or reject any application or to limit the scope of the applicant’s participation in the interest of providing a quality family event and promotion of Dickson Street merchants.
Any exclusivity will be determined by PIDS only. All rules, regulations and requirements are subject to final determination by PIDS and are subject to change.
FEES & CATEGORIES
$65-ARTS&CRAFTS…… PHOTOS and description of items or products must be submitted with application! If not, the application will be be returned! Only handmade, quality art and craft items will be accepted. Acceptance will be determined by PIDS board members.
$70-RETAIL/BUSINESS…. Businesses offering a specific type of product or service. Submit brief description with application and narrow focus of booth as much as possible. If no description, application will be returned. Flea market or knock-off type booth NOT accepted.
$100-FOOD VENDORS…. PIDS remains the only vendor of carbonated soft drinks and and bottled water! Vendors will be limited - Dickson Street food merchants will be given first priorit per each type of “consumed at event” food items. Proof of HEALTH DEPT. APPROVAL or CERTIFICATION MUST be submitted with application as well as proof of Insurance. If it is not, application will be returned.
$25-NON-PROFITS…… Includes distribution of information, acceptance of donations or fund-raising for a non-profit organization. Proof of non-profit status may be required prior to setup.
$100-AMUSEMENTS…. For the purpose of amusement or entertainment. No duplication of activities will be allowed. Order of receipt of application and quality of activity will be first priority towards acceptance. PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE must be submitted with application. If it is not, application will be returned. If you have a blow up amusement, you will need to provide your own generator.
$25-EDUCATIONAL… Must be a school related fundraiser where you sell a product, charge for an activity, or accept donations. Booths that provide free information or entertainment may be exempt from the fee. Submit a brief description of school association and reason for exemption with application for determination by PIDS of exempt status. Upon approval, fee will be returned.
