UA Pianist Kicks Off Fest
A free concert at 7 p.m.today featuring University of Arkansas faculty pianist Jura Margulis will kick off the newly expanded Fayetteville Arts Festival.
The concert takes place at the Walton Arts Center, and tickets are free but required Information: 443-5600.
On Wednesday, festival events begin at noon with fiddle music at Hog Haus Brewery and continue with a roll-out party at 4 p.m. at the Fayetteville Public Library celebrating the publication of the youth literary magazine The Wanderer.
Also Wednesday, a free concert by young pianists takes place at 7 p.m. at the library. Information: downtowndickson.com.
